Horse Racing: Side with Dascombe and super Sawwaah; MARK WINSTANLEY on Monday.(Sports)
|
Byline: MARK WINSTANLEY
WHEN it comes to favourite racecourses, Woodbine, Churchill Downs, Sandown and Cheltenham spring readily to mind, and you can throw in York as well.
There is no doubt the worst track I've ever had the misfortune to visit is Folkestone. I never bet at the track, because the ground is always atrocious, so we will stick to the sand dunes on this exciting Monday.
Okay, so the racing this afternoon is low-level stuff, but you get paid out just as much for finding the winner of the claimer at Wolverhampton as you do for picking the Gold Cup winner.
