The ancient tomb built by Greek artisans to house the remains of Mausolos, a fourth century BC ruler of Caria in present-day Turkey, was the fifth wonder of the ancient world. Archeological evidence suggests that the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus was more than 130 feet tall and occupied nearly 13,000 square feet of space.
