Divers prepare to delve deep into the 'Lusitania'

THE BIGGEST exploratory dive ever attempted on the World War One liner, the 'Lusitania', is being planned for early next summer -- and could yield priceless artefacts for Irish and US museums.

The wreck's owner, American Greg Bemis, is planning the dive and a special TV documentary for a four-week period off the Cork coast early next summer.

However, the businessman -- who waged a decade-long legal battle with the Irish Government over his rights to the wreck -- has insisted that the dives do not represent a treasure ...
