Coleraine councillor reflects on a New Year visit to Auschwitz.

SDLP MLA John Dallat says that more people should take the trip to Auschwitz.
The Coleraine councillor was speaking after visiting the German concentration camp in Poland where more than one million people lost their lives.
He said: " Even after reading the history of the Auschwitz concentration camp nothing can prepare to the experience when you arrive and come face to face with a place where the most barbaric cruelty was inflicted on people by the Hitler regime as it sought power and domination.
