WORCESTER Ruth M. Linden passed away on December 25, 2007 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah, WI due to pneumonia and pancreatic cancer. She was born on May 17, 1918 in Worcester, MA, the daughter of Carl John and Emma M. (Lindberg) Lindegren, Sr.
When she was three, Ruths family moved to Rhode Island, where she graduated from Cranston High School in 1935. Ruth earned her B S degree in Physical Education at Boston University (Sargent College) in 1939, and her M S at Wellesley College in 1940. She excelled at sports, especially swimming and sailing, and spent summer ...
