WAT'S Dyke Association, a group aiming to open a long distance footpath following the route of the ancient earthworks and fortification, is holding its eighth annual meeting this Thursday.

Most of the 6o mile-long path, which runs between Greenfield in Flintshire to Llanymynech in Powys, has now been way marked.

The association has also commissioned the production of an illustrated guide to the path that will be published this spring.

It received a grant of pounds 5,000 from the Lottery-funded Awards For All Wales grants ...
