A FAMOUS British mountaineer is the latest person to give support to a team, including some of Cald-erdale's most senior Scouts, who are planning an expedition to Nepal.
Doug Scott, the first British climber to reach the summit of Everest in the autumn of 1975, is to give a talk to help raise funds for a group of 43 West Yorkshire Scouts travelling to a remote Himalayan village to build a school and clean water supply.
