A GLIDER pilot was taken to hospital after crash landing in a field in Brigstock.
Firefighters from Corby attended the scene in Harley Way, near Brigstock, the home of the Welland Gliding Club, at about 1.50pm yesterday.
A 51-year-old man from Eye, Cambridgeshire, was released by firefighters after his glider crashed and overturned. He was then transferred by air ambulance to Birmingham Heartland Hospital with a serious injury to his leg.
