Yorkshire went top in NatWest Pro40 League Division Two with a convincing eight-wicket defeat of bottom club Glamorgan under the Sophia Gardens floodlights.

After winning a useful toss Phoenix captain Darren Gough and Richard Pyrah took three wickets apiece, with Jason Gillespie recording figures of 7-3-8-1 as the home side limped to 129 for eight.

Mark Wallace (37 not out) was one of only three Dragons batsmen to reach double figures in a low score which was only boosted by Yorkshire sending down 23 wides.
