Henkel Corp, USA, has developed and commercialized two new products: a nacelle film and a resin-impregnated peel ply.
The nacelle film is a high-temperature and durable, epoxy-based film adhesive. Known as Hysol EA 9658, it has been developed by the aerospace group of Henkel. It features extended toughness and improved flow rheology. Ideal for composite or metal bonding, it also reticulates for optimum acoustic efficiency.
