ASHEBORO -- John Wesley Pierce, 89, of 777 Bray Blvd., Asheboro, died Friday, December 28, 2007, at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 31, at Rushwood Park Wesleyan Church, with Dr. James Perryman and Dr. Ron Hamilton officiating. Burial with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.

Born in Jackson Creek on December 5, 1918, Mr. Pierce was the son of the late James Ed and Queen Bertha Pierce. He attended Red Berry, High Rock, and Farmer schools. He was a member of ...
