Bedford's Muslim community hails assassinated former leader as a "major figure".

Bedford's Muslim community paid tribute to former Pakistan prime minister Benazir Bhutto on Friday.

Prayers were said at both Westbourne Road and Ford End Road mosques after Friday morning services.

Mrs Bhutto was assassinated on Thursday when she was leaving a political rally.
