HOUSTON, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- American General Corporation (NYSE: AGC) today announced that George W. Bentham has been named senior vice president and chief marketing officer of American General Life Insurance Company, American General's Houston-based life insurance subsidiary. Bentham will report to Robert S. Cauthen Jr., president and chief executive officer of American General Life.
