GLENN Ferguson scored his 499th career goal as champions Linfield survived a scare against struggling Glenavon at Windsor Park last Saturday.
The pre-Christmas cracker had it all; goals, penalties and plenty of nervous tension for Blues fans.
There were plenty of early opportunities for Linfield, with the first coming on five minutes when Oran Kearney crossed from wide, with Tuda Murphy punching out as William Murphy applied the pressure.
