CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 30, 1995-- Acanthus Energy Corp., ("AEC") a wholly owned subsidiary of Acanthus Resources Ltd. ("ARL"), wishes to announce that the holders of 98% of the common shares being 4,075,000 and 97% of the warrants being 1,109,167 of Ballenas Resources Inc. ("Ballenas") had tendered their shares and warrants to the AEC offer of August 4, 1995 to purchase all of the common shares and warrants of Ballenas for $0.65 and $0.0001 per warrant by the time of the expiry of the Offer by 5:00 P.M. of August 28, 1995.
