Charlotte M. Blume, 98, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Sunday at Francis House. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Edward F. Blume, in 1994. Charlotte was the daughter of James M. and Charlotte D. Murray and lived most of her life next to Lincoln Park in Syracuse.

Charlotte graduated from North High School and from Syracuse University in 1932, where she was a competitive swimmer. For many summers, Charlotte was the waterfront director at Camp Fernwood in Poland Spring, Maine, where she led hiking trips in the ...
