Farm bureau delegates OK issues-based PAC.(AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS)

Delegates to Arkansas Farm Bureau's 73rd annual convention in Little Rock departed from long-standing policy and agreed to establish an issues-focused political action committee.

The 318 voting representatives passed a resolution favoring "an issues-based political action committee funded through voluntary contributions from Farm Bureau members and other interested individuals or entities."

Arkansas Farm Bureau has resisted creation of a PAC throughout its history to remain apart from partisan politics.
