Markova has mementoes and memories of her long career from its start in 1925 when Serge Diaghilev took the then-14-year-old for the Ballet Russe. Boston University will soon be the beneficiary of many of her items. Combined with BU's present collection, it will create a rich archive for ballet scholars.
