Australia and New Zealand contribute funds to kick-start reconstruction of Nukualofa.

17 DECEMBER 2007 SUVA (Pacnews) --- Australia and New Zealand have jointly committed TOP$16 million (US$8.2 million)
to kick start reconstruction of Tongas central business district, razed to the ground in November last year.
An agreement to formalise the contributions was signed in Nukualofa last Friday between the two countries and Tongas Prime Minister, Dr Feleti Sevele.
The Private Sector Reconstruction Facility (PSRF) was a result of requests made to Australia and New Zealand in August this year by Dr Sevele.
