TOP dogs Billingham defeated Wallsend this afternoon although the visitors caused problems for the home side as the game went on.

With most other games in the area falling to the weather, the pitch was in remarkably good condition although the temperature was just three degrees above.

Billingham had a pretty strong team to start with, with both Hyndman brothers starting in the centre and Evans starting at number nine.

With the floodlights switched on from the start Wallsend kicked off towards the Billingham team ...
