"I MEET terrifically interesting people all day long," says Maureen Clarke, a droll grandmother of four who has worked part-time at Oceanic Arts since 2002.
Some world-famous-in-New-Zealand types have bought stuff from the Auckland Airport arts and crafts shop, though Maureen's far too discreet to namedrop. Mind you, there's been the odd overseas celeb.
"Cameron Diaz bought something," she says. "Scarlett Johansson too."
"David Hasselhoff?"
"No, not the Hoff. But also what's her name you know, that fabulous one. She'd be about 60 now ...
