PRESS: Polish veterinary authority confirms cases of bird flu in Warmia region
WARSAW. DECEMBER 12. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Three wild birds - two birds of prey and a stork - were confirmed to have been carrying the bird flu virus after being found dead in the Warmia region of Poland on Tuesday, Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza reported on its website Wednesday.
"Bird flu has appeared in the Warmia and Mazovia [regions] of Poland," the website reads. "It was discovered among wild birds - two birds of prey and a stork - which died at an animal recovery center ...
