A NEW vicar has been welcomed by the congregation at Claybrooke church after a special licensing ceremony.
The Rev Carol Brennand is now ministering at St Peter's Church in Claybrooke Parva as well as at churches in Leire, Ashby Parva and Dunton Bassett.
She was welcomed by the Bishop of Leicester, the Rt Rev Tim Stevens, at the ceremony in November.
The church was filled with people from the benefice and clergy from other parts of the deanery.
