GAINSBOROUGH Standard Sunday Football League Division Two leaders Vine Inn lost their unbeaten record as they went down 3-2 to North Wheatley who are currently languishing near the bottom of this division.

The North Wheatley side have shown improvement in recent weeks and produced without doubt their most outstanding performance of the season so far.

After an hour's play they were 3-0 up through goals scored by Matt Chadwick (two) and Ryan Terry and were looking for a convincing win.
