The restoration of decaying Brodsworth Hall at a cost of 3.9 mil pounds sterling, is a departure from the past works of the English Heritage. The work has not resulted in a pristine restoration. Rather much of the faded grandeur remains as evidence of a lived-in house. Public viewing begins Oct 1995.
