Jul. 1--Nathan Jones worries about the future of the Great Salt Lake's brine shrimp industry. "The action on the lake is like a war zone," says Jones, president of Bonneville Artemia, a brine shrimp harvesting company. "This year, we can expect maybe 20 planes in the air and over 100 boats."

When Jones entered the industry five years ago, there were just five companies on the lake. This season, there will be 21.
