IT may sound like an April Fools' joke, but there is such a thing as an albino blackbird, and a rare sighting of one of the birds was made at Sandygate last weekend.
Twitcher Bill Schofield took this picture and says that in 50 years of bird watching it is the rarest sighting he has ever made, even though his hobby has taken him across Europe and to the USA.
