Plastic bags to become a thing of the past?

PLASTIC shopping bags could become a thing of the past in Garstang if an idea put forward by the town council goes ahead.
Coun Dulcie Atkins brought up the issue at the latest council meeting, when she discussed the example of Modbury, South Devon - the first town in Britain to bring an end to plastic bags.
