POLICE are linking a spate of thefts where items were stolen from cars parked in Newmarket.

Thieves stole a stereo system after breaking in to a red Renault Twingo in a garage block in Aureole Walk.

It happened between 10pm on November 8 and 8.30am on November 9 when a door was forced open.

On the same two days, a green Ford Fiesta, also parked in Aureole Walk, had its window smashed and stereo system stolen.
