WESTBORO - After Acton-Boxboro Regional visited Shrewsbury High in a preseason girls' soccer scrimmage, the coaches of both schools suggested to one another that they might meet again in the state final.
"I think that was the last thing we said to each other," Shrewsbury coach Chip DelPrete said. "It was obvious that they were a very good soccer team, and we've had a really good team for the past few years."
