Wildlife habitat Redgrave and Lopham Fen is situated within the 3km protection zone which surrounds Redgrave Park Farm - the site of the H5N1 avian flu outbreak.
The fen, which covers an area of 123 hectares, is the largest remaining river valley fen in England and has international protection because of this. It is a mixture of wet heathland, open water, scrub and woodland.
