Reg Boyce - a Sussex gentleman through and through - made his final journey on a hores-drawn wagon to reflect his life-long passion for the land.
Reg, who died aged 90, began his farming life working with shire horses at Pangdean Farm, Pyecombe. He spent many years as a ploughman and carter, caring for shires Punch, Billy and Traveller who worked the land before tractors changed farming methods forever.
