Translink names Antrim one of the worst dumping hot-spots.

TRANSLINK has today called on the people of Antrim for their help in clamping down on illegal dumping - a menace that costs the company over [pounds sterling]250,000 a year to clean up.

Antrim has been named by Translink as one of the dumping hot-spots which they are targeting. They have said illegal dumping causes public safety hazards and in the worst-affected areas, neighbourhoods can potentially suffer in terms of declining house prices or discourage local investment.
