THE Pipes and Drums of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards recently travelled to Moscow, to take part in the inaugural Kremlin Zoria Festival.

Among their number was Bo'ness man, Lance Corporal David Barnett, who has travelled all over the world with the Scots Guards in his seven years of service.

However, the 27-year-old admitted that playing the bagpipes in Red Square was one of his most unusual assisgnments to date.
