Scrabble champ of few words.

YOU might expect a man who could well become the world's greatest Scrabble player to have a word or two to say about his chances.

But not Adam Philpotts.

Adam's mum Carol, of Wadbrough Road, Sharrow Vale, was so proud when he was selected to represent England at the Scrabble world championships to be held in Mumbai, India, between November 9 and 11 she wrote to The Star to share the good news.
