I commend you for the article, "Queen Latifah On A Roll" (Oct. 2007), presenting Queen Latifah as the beautiful, talented "queen" that she has become.
I have been unable to identify with the hip-hop culture, therefore, I had not appreciated Queen Latifah's great talent, beauty and femininity when she was a rapper. It was not until The Dana Owens Album was released in 2004 that I became an avid Queen Latifah fan. I loved her rendition of the old standards on this album.
