SEOUL, Oct. 19 (Yonhap) -- A humorous-looking ancient wooden mask that has recently been found in Japan is believed to be one of three missing Korean "Hahoe" masks designated by the South Korean government as national treasures, a scholar said Friday. Hahoe masks, designated as National Treasure Number 121, were made of alder wood in the 12th century during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) in the small village of Hahoe in North Gyeongsang province.
