Jempsons will be officially taking over Budgens in Battle on Monday.
Contracts were exchanged this week following meetings with staff.
It is the third Budgens store bought up by Jempsons, after the group took over the Rye branch in November last year and the Hawkhurst branch in April.
Both stores are now trade as Jempsons/Budgens.
Joint managing directors of Jempsons Supermarkets, Stephen and Andrew Jempson, met with Budgens' staff at Battle last week to tell them of the plans.
