BASSETLAW Council leader Mike Quigley has come under attack from a member of his own party.

Coun Mike Jenkins has resigned from his cabinet post, saying that he can no longer work under an 'elective dictatorship'.

In a scathing letter of resignation, the now former cabinet member for revenues and customer services, wrote: "I have discovered for myself that under your leadership cabinet decision-making is a charade."
