AMATEUR golfers will be able to play in this year's Hampshire PGA Short Course Championship at Ampfield on Friday, September 7.

Amateurs will play in the 36-hole event with a professional to form a pro-am pairing.

The professionals will still play for the Short Course title but in addition there will be additional prizes for the best pro-am pairings.
