Museum launches sword appeal.

AN APPEAL has been issued for readers to help trace a sword believed to have been used at the battle of Linlithgow Bridge.
Linlithgow Heritage Trust chairman Alan Young hopes to use it as the centrepiece of a battle exhibition, to be staged in Annet House in September.
However, there is just one small problem...no-one appears to know the whereabouts of the ancient weapon.
