KILKENNY captain, Henry Shefflin became the most prolific scorer in championship hurling on Sunday.
His 12 point take in the Leinster semi-final against Offaly moved him to the top of the scoring hit parade.
Going into the game he had scored 18-252 in his 35 championship outings. That total of 306 points left him just one behind Cork legend, Christy Ring.
Shefflin's scoring average was 8.74 per game, with Kilkenny legend Eddie Keher on 8.78.
