SHELLFISHERMEN were left pinching themselves last week after bringing home what appeared to be an albino lobster.

Fisherman John Stephenson caught the white and blue lobster 26 miles off the coast of Bridlington and brought it to shore - to the surprise of colleagues at the Bridlington Shellfish Company on the South Pier.

Mr Stephenson said: "I have been going to sea since I was 16, and I'm 61 now, and I have maybe seen two or three at different stages, some with little bits of white, some psychedelic blue ones. I suppose it is like an albino anything.
