More than one hundred people attended the International Anti War conference in Derry's City Hotel at the weekend.

The conference, organised by the local Anti War Coalition, heard from Iraqis, Lebanese and Palestinians about the impact of war on the people of their countries. All the speakers called for people in the West to show their solidarity by calling for an end to the occupation of Iraq, an end to the collective punishment of Palestinians and no more outside interference in the Middle East.
