MALTON Livestock Market returned to normal as restrictions on the movement of sheep and cattle were lifted following the recent foot and mouth outbreak.

More than 4,000 breeding sheep and store lambs were on offer at the Great Annual Michaelmas sale last week with at least another 2,500 expected this Friday.
