Ancestry TV programmes caused a surge of interest in Hastings Week's family history day this year.
The Hastings and Rother Family History Society Fair at Horntye Park sports complex at the weekend was a hit with over 300 people attending to look at stalls, and hear talks on internet research, wills, death duties, and naval ancestry.
