Pres. Bill Clinton expressed his views regarding media's portrayal of his performance, saying that excessive criticism has focused people's attention more on shortcomings rather than accomplishments. Clinton admitted that his administration was not perfect but he believed that media has tended to ignore its more positive aspects. He reiterated his commitment to lead the country forward into the next century.
