Global markets aren't just for big business anymore.

As the world economy is becoming more accessible to American businesses, small companies are looking at exports as a way to expand sales.

Getting started is usually the most difficult step. But many area trade organizations can ease the process by providing a wealth of expertise and information, said Joseph Kenney, executive director of the Greater Cleveland International Trade Alliance and the World Trade Center Cleveland.
