ASTRAKHAN. Oct 4 (Interfax) - Governor of Astrakhan region Alexander Zhilkin expects the region will sign a deal with Gazprom (RTS: GAZP) this month to begin a new gas project in the region to increase production to 50 billion cubic meters by 2012.
"We've reached a clear agreement with Lukoil (RTS: LKOH), Gazprom, and partners of Gazprom, and I expect we'll sign (an agreement) and begin a large project in October to provide gas production in 2012 of 50 billion cubic meters," Zhilkin said at a ...
