The Nicene Creed is professed by many Christians, but few appear to believe in one of its core tenets, the physical resurrection of the dead, including their bodies. Most Christians imagine a resurrection that involves only the soul, but this is problematic.

There is a distance between what people think they believe, and what they actually believe. Most Christians might say they agree with every single word of the Nicene Creed, but I am not sure this would hold up under serious questioning. ...
